Why We Started

Tiny Heart Project was born from our own journey as parents facing the unimaginable. At our 21-week appointment, we learned our first baby boy had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). The news was devastating, and the flood of medical information, decisions, and emotions felt overwhelming.

We were determined to do everything possible for him. His due date was April 3, 2026. Tragically, we experienced a stillbirth on February 11, 2026. Throughout this journey, we were surrounded by countless supporters family and friends who lifted us up in ways we will never forget. Our two beautiful daughters helped us tremendously as well, more than they will ever know. We know not every family has that support, and we were truly grateful.

Tiny Heart Project exists to help families who don’t have that opportunity. We provide financial relief, housing assistance near treatment centers, and other resources to ease the burden for families navigating long hospital stays, ongoing care, or even the grief of losing a child.

Tiny Heart Project supports families facing infant Congenital Heart Disease , with a special focus on Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome by providing financial assistance, emotional support, & resources during every stage of their journey, from diagnosis to treatment, loss, & beyond.

OUR PROMISE

We exist to ease the overwhelming burden placed on families navigating infant CHD. Through community-driven support, we help cover critical needs such as hospital-related expenses, temporary housing near treatment centers, and end-of-life or memorial costs,
ensuring no family faces these moments alone.
